I recently discovered there is a plain vanilla version of the forum available for use on mobiles. The standard version is ok, but the following may enable you to get faster page loads. (It works on computers too)

just add ?wap2 after the url for the forum eg:

http://forum.melodeon.net/index.php?wap2
