I used to have a Horch 5-row CBA 3v 96 bass.

Good playing accordion, but typical Klingenthal (weltmeister, royal standard, etc.) quality, both in terms of reed quality and craftmanship. It needed some attention, and still it did not have the sound or feel of an italian box.

This little thing looks like a decent box after some attention, though I've seen somwhat similar boxes at lower prices.

Danish and Irish one- and two-row melodeon. I like old, powerful boxes, and the related styles. Yup, loud and obnoxious:)

Horch? Weren't they members of the pre war Auto Union race car manufacturers along with Adler, DKW and Audi or someone? Now either they are supercharged boxes or hard to handle, but so where the Mercs according to Lewis.
Old Bill.
postscriptum:-This is Old Racers board, isn't it?

Bill,

Both were built in Saxony, but the grilles were different.  Roll Eyes

One of them at least was a decent touring box though! Cheesy

Like the Horch 108 maybe?   Huh?

(Not so sure about the "tourists" though...  Shocked)

They reckon that overtaking is difficult in Formula One. Forget aerodynamics, tow a gun but don't forget you must get it crash tested first.
