For some reason Twitter seems to be the most incredible waste of time to me.  Not only that but it seems to be a tool for those who are incredibly self absorbed and think that everyone needs to be aware of their every thought!

Even if you don't get it now, I suggest keeping an open mind.  I signed up for it years ago and for a long time I just didn't get what it was useful for at all.  However, more recently, particularly since people have had access to iPhones, Android phones and other such gizmos, Twitter has started to make a lot more sense.  If you need or want live reports from events, conferences, competitions and suchlike, Twitter can be (and is) being used to provide a service that you couldn't have imagined just a few years back.  For me, it's not something that I get benefit from every day, but every so often, something happens where it proves to be very worthwhile indeed and in ways that still surprise me.  For something that I'd previously written off as a waste of time, it's amazing how things have turned around.

Please record at least one more vote for the "no twitters, no facebooks, no etc." contingent.
Though I don't know if the forum would be as fun without YouTube URL's to songs.
