Just found a great way to save a fortune that Hohner I found , was in an old record case, you know the plastic covered type you have seen at bootsales always filled with LPs, wewll it holds Hohner Pokerworks etc well in them and waterproof and also has a handle and can be locked. maybe many have done already.

Twenty years ago this was the carrying case of choice for Pokerworks, since then both LPs and Pokerworks have gone out of fashion. Mind you old Hohners are on their way back into fashion but I think LPs are gone forever.

Do you know the internal measurements of these? I'm looking for some cases for a Hohner one-row four stop and a Club III.

Cheers

I have used a maplins case for about 10 years for my serenellini & can recommend it.  Its strong enough to be used as a seat but unfortunatley the handle folds flat on top of the case but Shocked is not recessed so one has to decide whether to sit on it with the handle facing north/south or east/west!

Going massively off topic here, but I think you are very wrong. Lots of up and coming young bands are releasing albums of vinyl and it is certainly coming back into fashion... I still buy them anyway!  Cheesy

Going back on topic, my box box is an old briefcase that used to house some of my Dad's record collection. I've been told several times it's the most executive melodeon case in the world. Tongue Seriously considering a backpack style one for festivals though.

I rotate the case 90 degrees so the handle is off to the side, as I find it quite distracting to be roughly handled in that quarter.
