I be there... I'll keep a look out for a headless woman with a Tommy !!!

Seriously, ECMW is always a cracking week-end and this one should be no exception.
See you there...

ps. Don't forget to take your 4-stop in C.

I've been 'volunteered' to do a shift at the bar...so should be easy enough to find. ;)

Haven't got enough hands...taking tommy melodeon (did briefly contemplate fiddle but I'm just not up to scratch).
Already decided not taking the concertina...as I can never hear myself well enough to play in a session.

[Haven't got enough hands...

If you're go to festivals frequently then one of those soft rucksack-style melodeon bags is a good investment - gives you two free hands to carry other instruments (or beer) and is easier to carry too.  However it can't be used as a seat when all the chairs are taken.

I'll be at ECMW - just sent off my cheque, and I'm now trying to arrange my business diary to be in East Anglia on the Friday!

Its just I'm going to have to check out the hotel on the saturday which means carrying my 'suitcase' around all day in addition to backpack containing melodeon and handbag. (I don't have a car to lock it in) I don't want my arms to be so aching I can't play. ;)

I'll be there since it's almost in my backyard and I'm really looking forward to it as I've not been before.

Ullo, all. I've wanted to get the the ECMW for several years, since I became aware of it. I've got the time this year, but it's a fair old way east, and I've just bought a set of border pipes, so may not be able to afford it anyway  (:) It sounds like a fantastic weekend, and in fact it's the inspiration for our little weekend of Welsh music, Sha Nol Sha Mlan.

I'm just north of Swansea. On the off chance, is there anyone heading there from fairly far west on the M4 or nearby, who might have room in their vehicle for me, instrument and tent?

Incidentally, what tune it it that plays when one opens the ECMW page? The first one in the set. I'd be grateful for your knowledge!

I've never been before but I have a plan to go this year. Not that I've done anything about it. Frankie at our club is always on at us to go.

Does anyone know what's happening on the Sunday?  I can't go any other day, and the booking form doesn't really advise.

Thanks, LDT, I will try to get along on the Sunday - if you just turn up is it a door entry charge at each venue, do you know?  The form just refers to weekend charges, I wasn't sure what it covered.

Last year when it was at Ampthill, there was an on-the-door charge for people just turning up for the final day, but it depends on the space available I guess. If there is a separate session in a pub, you might be asked for a small cash contribution.

I'd love people to buy their tickets in advance! It would make the organisers' lives so much easier.

I will start a list of people offering or needing lifts. Contact me via the website/organisers.

OK; ours should be in the post by the end of the weekend. If we are organised.

14 days to go..... :o
I still can't decide what to pack. If the weather would just make up its mind that would be nice.
