Title: Inside in the Bugari Factory
Post by: Adam-T on August 18, 2012, 12:29:17 PM
In english too ! .... We`ve seen Pigini and Polverini , here`s Bugari (I was amazed to hear it`s pronounced Boogery or Buuggery rather than "Boojscharie" as you`d expect )

In Italiano:

g before i or e is soft - Luigi, Pigini. Gelato.

g before a or u or o is hard - Magdalena, Bugatti, Bugari, Gucci, Gabbanelli. Gorgonzola.

g before n - Lasagne, Castagnari.

Thanks !! . I knew G before N was silent and how to pronounce a lot of others including Pigini (which is more fun to pronounce wrongly to allow all kinds of Piglet, Babe, Mochyn Bach etc jokes) but didn`t know it followed a set pattern ! .

Nice video, thanks. The commentator pronounces Bugari in a very strange fashion - I wonder where he's from.  :-\
