I have 2 bellows in fornt of me.. both for "cajun" boxes
both bought from a Cajun supplier a few years back
One is stiffer than the other and the bellows cardboard seems thicker on one
If anyone has an Italian bellows laying around ( or even a Hohner) could you take a micrometer or a calipers and measure the cardboard thickness
Thanks

Prewar Erika 0.8 mm manilla cardboard. I''m currently using 0.625 mm modern high density (heavy) long fiber cardboard, but will change for thinner of the same brand (Scandinavian). The thickness is not the only factor which detemines how stiff the cardboard is but you probably knew this.

.625 mm is about .026 inches
