This is the style you will see most in UK. Bourbonnais (low Auvergne) is Chavannée country, and not too far from St Cartier. I also think much of the early Brit collecting happened round here

Bourbonnaise style is quite stately and the tunes are 4:4, differing from Auvergnat or Morvan. 25 years ago that was it. increasingly the dancers cross mix auvergne moves into it.

Addition this just to show another facet of young accordéonist Remi Thébaut, dance teacher. Style said to be "Poitou" but looked very similar to me. Papa Thébaut on fiddle
