Oh my would would have thought that a picture of a Hohner one-row would make it into ELLE ?

and she looks so comfortable and natural holding it too ;D
-
That looks like a 1930s model hohner, the one with bakelite buttons, and reversable knobs. They only ever shipped them to australia apparently. Left handed too

Ah, that'll be why the Hohner logo's upside down, then.......
-
Apparently she's a bit deaf in her right ear, too.
-
Morris musicians obviously. Like the kit!
-
I've never thought of playing my one row like that (upside down)....should be interesting, I'm off to give it a try ;)

All they need is a bit of blacking and a couple of hats, then they'd be smart enough to join Ouse Washes >:E

The box is the right way up the ladies are upside down.....
-
And a flesh coloured thumb strap...

How did that get past the censor, I wonder..... ;D

Where are the Health and Safety people?
-
You folks can be so cruel…Makes me want to see the movie, though. The soundtrack must be interesting. :D

What melodeon? ;)

I tried it that way 26 years ago, and have continued to do so ever since, works much better. No need for clothes pegs to hold the stops out either, just let gravity do the job.

Are we talking about the melodeon or the lady?
-
I'm glad you said that rather than me!
-
Bass end must bark a bit after its resonated through all that horn :o

Where'd that spurious B come from >:E

On a more serious note, it might be upside down, but it's good to see a melodeon in a mainstream magazine - rather than in 'Bellows pumping monthly' ;)
-
Its not upside down, its left handed. One in ten people are left handed so expect a few pictures
-
never seen anything like that before,....... 16 fold, but four gold centre. (:)

Are you sure it's only one in ten people?
I've been left handed for 66 years. ;D
-
as you will very well know by now after 66.6 years (!).. the music will flow through leftie or right-sided players.
herr Albrecht verstehen.
-
Ist alles Klar. ;D
-
Umm, how did you know I was 66.6 years? ???
Edited to make sense, unusually ;D
-
Read the book of Revelation. ???

;D ;D

Now that is a revelation, I often wondered why music written for bodhran players was in 66/6 time. It used to be said that rock and roll that was the devils music. Now it is the domain of bodhran players with two left hands.

And Banjos >:E
Edited for grammar
Edited for punctuation :-\
There's no comma in a banjo. Or humour one assumes >:E
