Title: Andy Renwick's Ferret
Post by: Owen Woods on March 09, 2009, 02:30:12 AM
This is a fantastic tune on melodeon. Range of one octave, in nice sensible A minor, fits nicely under the fingers. It still manages to be challenging, due to the excessive number of triplets.

Currently my favourite box tune.

Third tune of this set (http://www.cucb.co.uk/transabc.php?fname=scottishreel4&t=0&type=3&bc=0).

Excellent stuff - and you're right - a great tune, thanks for putting this up!

You're welcome! Especially fun if you ramp it up such that your fingers get tied in knots...

The fourth tune of that set is good as well, as fiddle players find it an awful lot more difficult to play than I do. Sweet revenge for all those reels in E that they keep playing...
