Hi group,
I'd like to learn this old Elvis tune, Wooden Heart.
I need to play it in the key of D.....I'm a teacher and I want my children to sing along.
Any advice greatly accepted.
All the best,
Phil

I think the song was called wooden hart but the tune is much older, can't remember its proper name! Just try it 'by ear' or by poking & prodding untill you get all the notes in the right order. It can all be played on buttons 3456 on D row. the first 3 notes being DEF. If prefered the G can be played on the G row so as to be able to use the G bass.

It is "Muss i denn zum Staedtele naus" (Schwaebisches Volkslied)

Hi! Just had a look in JC's tune finder and there's a version there. I searched under "muss i denn"

Try Lester's excellent abc article on the home page, all the links are in there.
