Title: A run down I need help to crack...
Post by: EastAnglianTed on August 14, 2014, 09:30:43 PM
This was posted by me in a different thread but I think it got lost in the mix. Anywho:

"On the Laihian Polkka video around 00:35 seconds to 00:37 seconds- that little run down he does, does anyone have a clearer/slower showing of that sort of run down? Failing that, could anyone explain to me the sequence of notes as I cannot for the life of me crack it!
    Cheers in advance!"

Video I am speaking about is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haJNpBL8qco&index=9&list=FL67UXX6qis_LOo36op6OCWQ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haJNpBL8qco&index=9&list=FL67UXX6qis_LOo36op6OCWQ)

    Cheers m'dears!  ;D

Edit: I believe the player is Jamie Huddlestone?

It sounds to me like a run of the simplest kind of triplets and you don't even need to know what notes he's playing - just twiddle with the button above!

Without the ornaments it's a run down of crotchets ( B A G F#) and played on a D row this would give you

B (3AdA (3GBG (3F#AF# E

or something very much like it.
