Following on the great success of other avatar changes, I thought I would have a change. So, much work by my PR consultants, numerous focus groups and artistic labour have borne fruit...

Wish I knew how to make an avatar, I've seen it explained on Melnet but have never managed to understand a word of it.  ???

I'd quite like to know how to make an avatar too.  Are there instructions somewhere on melnet?

Create your avatar either a jpeg or a png is usually good  MAXIMUM SIZE 90 x 90 PIXELS

Click on PROFILE in the banner area

Select FORUM PROFILE from the LHS menu

Go to PERSONALIZE PICTURE, select UPLOAD AN AVATAR, then click CHOOSE FILE and select your avatar's location on you computer and Bob's Your Uncle

You need any form of image editor, use the change sixe (or similar) options to aim for an 80x80 pixel image. Submit it and all should be well. It is a good idea to "trim"  to exactly what you want and no more before doing the reduction (OP please note)
