Last night the board wouldn't load at all; today everything here is happening in slow motion. I am assuming it's a problem on this end; am I wrong?

Last night I wasn't able to access the board at all; today everything here is happening in slow motion. I am assuming it's a problem on this end, but I don't really know.

No, it's more general. I had the same problem and assumed it was at the other end, as it's happened before and eventually been resolved, and everything else was working fine.

Is the forum playing up or is it just me? :-\
-
Me too. Over the last day or so. Sometimes won't load, sometimes takes a very long time, but sometimes normal.
-
Hung completely on me last night. Glad to see it seems to be working again this morning.
-
Glad it's not me then.
-
Not been able to get on to the forum for several days...
Had to think of new things to do.
:(

Yes same here,..... very slow and often can't get onto the site over the last 2 days.
Q
missing you all :-*

Still having problems I'm afraid - a known issue at the hoster which they seem to be having a little issue fixing.
-
Yes there is a problem with the server which is affecting everyone. I'm chasing it up.
-
Well done, you stout northern fellow! After sending you an email, I tried again and it's no trouble at all. Sorry to have wasted your time, sir.
-
Thought I'd been kicked. Must try harder.... >:E

Update from web hosts. The server has been the object of a DDoS attack (look it up) which has left a backlog of email to process. The server is getting an upgrade and will need to be the-booted several times this evening.
Practical advice: don't expect the forum to work this evening, but if the action is successful we may be back to normal by Friday morning.

All back to normal now. Thank you for your patience.

Morning!
Yes, all seems to be fine for me now.
Thanks to Theo and the network gnomes who's sorted.....

All back to normal now.
Oh dear. Is that necessarily a good thing? >:E
(thanks Theo for getting this sorted and for your updates over on Facebook).
