By 'start' do you mean lowest button?  If so, just cut away the buttons on the diagram that don't match your accordion.  Just like a piano accordion you can add notes indefinitely to he top and bottom of the keyboard as instruments get bigger to extend the range.  The diagrams correspond to pretty big boxex---four octaves for one, five and a half for the other.   Look for the row with three white buttons and one black one, the black button in that row is G# and you ca work the rest out from there.

Thanks for that...
just had a quick look and can see what you describe... I think I need to dig out me korg tuner to make sure, being tone deaf with cloth ears doesn't help ;)

Next job is to have a crack at 'Canal en October' as per Dom Riviere on u-tube ...long job I suspect ::)

Alternatively, in the C-system, the lower (nearest the knee) of the two white buttons in the outer row is always a C. (The other one is A).

There are some handy blank charts on one of those websites (http://www.thecipher.com/CBA_5row_Grids.pdf) which might be useful to map out scale and chord fingerings.

Graham,
The stuff we have is called "moisturising dry oil body spray" and I see we have a pump spray in the car and an aerosol in the house. Don't know how current this packaging is - hope they still have it.
