Title: Bellows size
Post by: 911377brian on June 23, 2016, 06:00:19 PM
I've been playing a couple of 114's lately, G and Bb and very enjoyable it's been, but have just got my mitts on a 112 in C. I've had to use the air button a lot with the 112 and it's 12 fold bellows, I've now realised what a luxury the 17 fold 114 bellows are. Must be good practice in air button control I suppose....

But....
The 112 has only two reeds so uses ~50% of the air that a 114 does and it has 82% of the bellows capacity so should be far easier to play with less air button action.

You're right,Lester, but I've only been using the two middle knobs ( technical term ) in the house on the G box..
