The Herfeld looks to be taking much less effort for a more pleasing sound
quite puts me off the 114 :(   :'(

I didn't appreciate what a nice sound it had until Lester played it fairly recently. Sitting behind it gives a distorted impression. Once you get a playing system worked out, minimum bellows movement for instance and playing it more or less flat across your lap it's ok, a bit stiff to start with as I re taped the bellows but getting better. Theo has done a lovely job on the entrails by the way....
