Title: Acorn Instruments in Oxford.
Post by: pete /acorn on April 08, 2017, 09:27:37 AM
Looks like I'm off again.

Acorn Instruments will have a trade stall at the Folk Weekend Oxford which is from 21st to 23rd April.

Full details of venue later
Look forward to seeing existing and new customers.

The trading area isn't large therefore if anyone would like to see something specific please let me know.

Sadly can't come this year.  Am going to the Blowzabella day in Holmfirth at the beginning of May (bank holiday) and doing the dance and melodeon workshops.  Don't suppose you are planning to be there?

No Sorry Tony

May day bank holiday having a break and going back to Barnard Castle where we all got introduced to Morris dancing and Folk/Traditional music'

We were dragged along by friends to the Teesdale Thrash for the weekend about 25 years ago and if I remember the concert act was a very Andy Cutting and Chris Wood and the band was All Blacked UP.

Little did we know what would develop, two daughters, one an accordion player and the other a fiddle player and classical singer and a very successful band {Fiddlers Wreck ] and an instrument business

I am looking at other festivals but at the moment not sure.  You could come and see us.
