Likewise from foggy Broadland - hope you all have a peaceful Christmas so that your turbo blown, multiple reed oscillations are appreciated over a wide area and a healthy, happy & musical New Year

Greetings from Sheffield!

May your bellows never leak,
Your valves never curl,
May your wax have no cracks,
And your reeds never go out of tune!

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!  :||: :|||: :|glug :|glug

Is it Christmas? I wondered about the fuss in our household over the last few weeks  and, when this was challenged, it resulted in the snarling and gnashing of teeth in my direction. Hope you all have a nice Christmas and, like myself, keep on pressing plenty of buttons  >:E.

ditto from the Central Tablelands of NSW, Australia, where the overnight temperatures occasionally drop below 20 c.
Or Hanukkah Saneach or whatever greeting is appropriate. I am about to take the melodeon and whistle into town for an hour or so.
Problem is my jig doll Henry is such a show off that no-one will notice the carols!
melodeon.net is a daily visit for me and I am grateful to those who maintain it.
Let's hope 2018 is the best year ever for all squeezers.

Merry Christmas from a lonely novice melodeonist in Buffalo, New York (not much of a "scene" here that I've found yet). Hope your holidays are full of warmth and music. (Boxcall, my relatives enjoy my playing so long as I am playing proper tunes and not "practicing". ;) )

Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year to all.
For those out to play - or dance, may the tunes flow, the sun shine (or at least rain not fall!) and the favourite tipple be imbibed joyfully. I'd also wish for peace - except for the music of course.

Merry Christmas from Riddlesden, in Airedale, West Yorkshire.

Actually, Christmas dinner for me was a cheese and tomato sandwich in an empty house with no heating or furniture...
Explanation: we chose the most traffic-free day of the year to drive back to the Cambridgeshire house we have just sold to retrieve the last few items (mostly garden stuff) and to leave the keys for the new owner. We did have something a little more festive when we got home from the 360 mile round trip. It was actually a day well spent.

A more genuinely relaxed and festive day is planned for tomorrow!

Thanks, Bob. We've been warmly welcomed by the Bacca Pipes Club in Keighley (a bit like a ready made family, our type of people) and will be getting out more next year when house-fettling is more complete. I look forward to bumping into you soon on our local musical travels.
