Hey, players -
I'm looking for a French-style teacher I could have online/Skype-style lessons with about once a month. I'm hoping to check in about technique, gain confidence, and learn to improvise on the instrument. I've been playing for a little over two years with most of my information and practice coming from the M&P method books.
Who would you suggest I get in touch with? Thanks in advance for your help.

I do this sort of thing and have had skype students in the past.

I believe Florence Pinvidic has just started doing Skype lessons. https://diouflo.com/index.php

Mmm, no I don't think she does. What she's trying is a system where you follow her book and send her (youtube) examples of playing for feedback. I've heard it works well. Mel Biggs does French style (not a phrase to read out of context, sorry Mel >:E), in English. And Yann Fanch Perroche does Skype lessons which have had good reviews. http://www.accordiato.fr/index.htm (http://www.accordiato.fr/index.htm). I have in my head that he speaks pretty good English.

Sorry Lyra, I obviously misunderstood.
Yann-Fanch has a very good reputation and I think he probably does speak English, as he lived in England for some years, I believe. I have never met him but we are ‘friends’ on Facebook and when he has messaged me, it has been in English. Write to him and ask! His technique and knowledge of French music, particularly Breton, would be second to none I should think.
I have thought of going to him for the odd lessons, to be honest, as getting to his part of France would be quite easy for me. I have got his tutor book 2 and it is very good. He is a great advocate for learning by ear, which is not the easiest method for me.
Good luck and tell us how you get on!

I’ve been to a workshop weekend with Yann-Fanch in Wales, and he does indeed communicate well in English....
Cheers,
