Hi all - this month's selection!
Shreds and Patches - last month's selection, narrowly beaten by a tune we'd done before (doh!). Let's try again... A John Kirkpatrick composition - here played by our own Jesse Smith: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu_rTJyaQIE
Plant un Cao - traditional Auvergne schottische, in case you're interested, that's the Auvergne spelling. Plante un Chou is the French spelling of the same tune. Nice version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AQB5Md_lxI
Corn Riggs - trad English rant; here wonderfully played by Ed Rennie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgJ5fpC_NJE
Webley Twizzle - here's Saul's fantastic version of this; mine may be a little more basic :-) 2nd tune on the set; the following link drops you right at the spot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3lrCIJCZIk&feature=youtu.be&t=124
Happy voting all!
Cheers,
Clive

Morris Pedantry Alert
The Webley Twizzle should have a 5 bar B music not the 6 bar one Saul plays
https://themorrisring.org/sites/default/files/sheetmusic/bamptonWebleyTwizzle.pdf (https://themorrisring.org/sites/default/files/sheetmusic/bamptonWebleyTwizzle.pdf)
There I feel better now.

Not that I don't love your very slightly de-morrised setting, Saul.

Interestingly every Morris side I've seen has danced the 6-bar version...

That's because it is much easier to dance.

Not if you've always done the 5-bar version!! >:E

That's the 5 bar B music version I take it? Cool - you learn something new every day!
