Post by: Kimric Smythe on October 25, 2019, 12:25:25 PM
I am nearly done with my working tour of several accordion factories (worked a couple of days at Weltmeister) I have posted pictures and when I have tome over the next few weeks I will do a blog of sorts.https://www.instagram.com/smythes_accordion_center/
Lots of pictures and accordion related things.

Thanks Kimric - I look forward to the written word.

I couldn't make out the accordion in the first pic - I perceived it as part of the object behind - until after I spotted the fiddle and the railwayman dancing. (:)

The museum in Tula had one of the Luttbeg two keyboard instruments. I can't imagine how it found its way there.

I uploaded a bunch of stuff to Flickr since they don't crop the images or shorten videos. Everything is still not up since I am way behind on work at the shop and am short on time. I also got several interesting button accordions in the shop the other day. https://www.flickr.com/search/?user_id=26639011%40N06&sort=date-taken-desc&text=tula%20factory&view_all=1
I am getting a bunch of the little 7 key Garmoshkas o change into diatonics as people are more familiar with that fingering here. Quality is pretty good for what it is.

I can personally state that the little boxes sound great, having played with them at Kimric's shop!
