Does anyone have a (spare?) copy of Jackie Daly's "Many's A Wild Night" (Gael Linn)? Happy to pay handsomely for a genuine copy etc. (wink wink) in good conditon.
According to Jackie (at last month's "Button Boxes and Moothies" Free Reed Convention in Aberdeen - those who weren't there missed themsleves!), he hasn't fallen out with the label and so it should still be available but I'm having no luck through the normal retail channels.

Can't help I'm afraid and the one place I thought would be bound to have a copy doesn't.
Jackie has a detached view of things that you can't help admiring: at a recent festival where all the artists had piles of CDs and other merchandise to sell (and made no bones about letting you know about them at every opportunity), I asked him if he had brought any copies of his classic recordings. "Real musicians don't sell CDs," he said, with a barely scrutable twinkle.

Now available again with original catalogue no. (Gael Linn CEFCD176) albeit with slightly modified version of cover art. I understand this is just one of a number of Gael Linn reissues. :D
