Title: Site speed

I notice the site's running very slowly for me over the past couple of days; other sites seem fine. Has anyone else seen a slowdown recently?

Yeah its been lagging a bit. But I've found the spiers and boden forum being slow as well. I assumed it was something to do with this version of the forum software. As fiddle forum (which is using the beta) was fine.

I noticed this too, though today it seems to be back to normal.  I ver much doubt that it could be becuase of the version of the forum software that we are running.  I did check  our web hosts server status, and our server was showing a higher load than usual. This can happen occasionaly sometimes as a result of server maintenance,  though none was flagged,  more likely a rogue script running on someone elses website that happens to share the same server.

I had an instance where it refused to load yesterday, but after a bit was fine.

It's been dodgy most of today - still running a wee bit slow I think.

Wouldn't load there for me for a few minutes and now is very slow..  ???

Certainly Wednesday was very slow on the site, but today (Thursday) seems back to normal.
