Thanks, Anahata - I do tend to record at 192k mp3 as a good compromise between file size and quality, so maybe that's it.  But it sounds like some sort of treble distortion, rather than general quality - maybe they have a lower threshold for overloading?  I didn't use to have this problem with onmvoice, as far as I recall.

I've had that sort of distortion appearing as a result of mp3 compression.   I've had best result by uploading at the highest quality available and allowing soundcloud to do the processing.

If you have the upload bandwidth (or patience) that would be the ideal approach.

Since my computer is sick because of a virus, I have big problems to send something. But now my daughter has a new one and I am allowed to use it sometimes. (:)
My tunes for this month are very common ones but I am training my left hand so my right hand is not allowed to think. But it's great fun for me ( not for my family).

Welcome back Mr J.  There's always something new  to learn from your videos.
Now we have this amazingly active  left hand. Is it Ska or what?  Thanks to your daughter from Melnet.

Wow Lester - my cup runneth over!!  In all seriousness this will be a wonderful resource for many box players.  I just worry that the You Tube hard drives might fill up before you run out of tunes!!! ;)

Great fun, and great rhythm! Where did you get those tunes from?

Thank You.

The tunes are from John Kirkpatricks English Choice.

The rhythm is developed while a Nordic Walking session with my dog.

I just worry that the You Tube hard drives might fill up before you run out of tunes!!! ;)

As YouTube is owned by Google, that could mean Google's search engine storage being gradually taken over by Lester's videos. Eventually a Google search for anything will produce a page of links to Lester playing English music on his melodeon.

Be very afraid  :||: :||: :||: :||: :||: :||: :||: :||: :||: :||:
(not really, worse things could happen...)
