I would think you would need more than 2 sets of reeds to get that full rich sound.

And a sound isn`t just reeds, it`s the whole box - hence why an Erica sounds different to a pokerwork both of which are Hohner and even use the same reeds, reedblocks and hardware.

If you want the Paolo sound you need to get a Paolo!

Why not get some good italian reeds and simply try to get a nice sound, which seems more achievable as a plan.
