Can anyone tell me if you can change the key of a recording in audacity, and how to do it? I need to change from C to G many thanks tommy

Yes it is and yes I do  ;)

Go to EFFECT Menu and Select CHANGE PITCH - the rest should be obvious. Just tried it and it works quite well

Audacity is one of my favorite tools for changing pitch or tempo. I find it very user-friendly.

Id recomend it to anyone, i use it for slowing down tunes and picking out individual notes and its free !

Mostly on hohners , with a couple of Dinos and a smattering of anglos - and now a Jeffries duet

I like that idea. What better way to increase my speed while playing than to install audacity into my melodeon?
