Staines Morris - Longborough
Lester - the tune in the video is Ode to Joy, not Staines Morris. Methinks a gremlin is occurring somewhere...  ::)

Fixed

The Blogger webapp is a bit broke at the moment and is unable to link yo YouTube to pick up the embedded video so I had to cut'n'paste the embedding code from a previous post (Ode to Joy) and edit it. Unfortunately, I missed the need to edit the YouTube video number three times and only did two of the instances. Should all be fine now.

Thanks Lester!
I've always liked this quirky little tune. If your D# accidental is on the push rather than the pull (Castagnari-style rather than Hohner) you can use a B major chord at the end of the 1st bar, which sounds nice.

35\40 years with it that way round would make turning it a major problem  ;)

I'm delighting in learning the names of many of these tunes! Thanks Lester.

The George hotel (Piercebridge, Tees valley up from Darlington) claims that the clock in its hall is the original one about which the song was written. It certainly isn't there to tell the time  ;)
