Ah!' So it wasn't one of his recent ones Stephen, the saving grace I suppose is that you have the skill to put it right. Have you told him? He's very emailable. He seems such a nice fellow he might knock a few €'s off.

It came from a private seller in Gemany Nick, not from "the man himself", and I've no problem with it for the price I paid. It's a very nice little box (only 9 1/4" tall), but nothing like your "wondrous machine".

I'll post some photos, when I get a chance.

I only wish I had the know how to put some pictures of my little Albrecht up on Melnet, Triskel, and maybe a video to give an idea of how well it sounds. ( My one and only attempt at recording a video for Melnet took a neighbour and two sprogs to get it onto the computer and I finished up looking like an aged lunatic ). I think the sainted Lester will testify to its lovely construction, so I can only think that Kay has polished up his skills since he made your box... :||: (:)

Yes Brian, if was wasn't for Karen my wife I'd never be able to put up on you tube. All those buttons cut paste etc. This electronic age has passed me by.
Would love to hear it Stephen, .  And I'm glad you are pleased with it. :D

No. No no no. I don't want one. I'm not a one-row player. I'm not I'm not I'm NOT! No. Not at all. Never. It's not for me. I don't like it at all. I'm not at all tempted. No.

Now what can I put on eBay to raise funds?

Couldn't resist it, especially after Nick's recommendation and video.  I've always fancied a one-row, but early experiences of air buttons have put me off.  This looks a little more manageable.  Thank you, Triskel, for the tip-off (I think)!  :Ph

Steve, you won't regret it I can assure you. The air button is just like the Hohner. The whole thing just plays like a dream.

Never been interested in  one rows, but yesterday took a look at his website, wondering what the fuss was about.
They look extraordinarily well made..... I can understand the lust for one!
Would think he'd shake up a lot of people if he ever ventured into 2 rows. Might even join the queue  (:)
