iPad Apps & Witney
« on: October 25, 2012, 10:31:29 PM »

In anticipation of the long awaited arrival of the Witney music, can anyone suggest any ipad apps which can slowdown playing speed of MP3/MP4 or whatever DaveT is serving up?

I'm going to be away from my normal miscellany of Windows-based tools for much of the next fortnight.

Hopefully, as he is going digital, the music might even be supplied as ABC as well as dots which would be even better  (:)

Thanks, Andy

Andy, can't you just let the batteries drain a bit?  >:E

Still squeezing after all these years.
Mostly on hohners , with a couple of Dinos and a smattering of anglos - and now a Jeffries duet

I use the Amazing Slower Downer on the iPad. It's able to import tunes from your iTunes library on the device and slow them down. It's a bit of a mess when using live recordings, since the app has no way to directly deal with anything except what's in your library.

So, what I do is record live tunes

Save the files to my Windows 7 box

Convert them to .mp3 if necessary

Import them to my iTunes library

Sync my iPad with the windows box

Open the Amazing Slower Downer app and import the tune from the iTunes library on the iPad (which now has the recorded tune).
