Never touched it Adam! A couple more pics... I did say I was going to stop this thread but thought these might be of interest. A Castagnari from the 30's? and a wall of grilles!

Interesting pics! Makes me wonder - I've never seen any 'old' Castagnari's in the flesh; ones built in the 80's are about the earliest I've seen. Has anyone seen any earlier ones, other than museum pieces? Presumably they must exist, but are *very* rare and probably not found in the UK at all...

I knew you were joking Adam, the gentleman so proudly displaying the work of his grandfather is Sandro Castagnari. OK, here are a couple more workshop photo's (including the legendary spaghettiman who has to get everything to fit in the treble end!)  and one of some lovely tiles (do you think I would be allowed to have these on my bathroom wall?).
I would like to reiterate the fact that the catalogue on Castagnari's website is beautifully presented and has some great workshop photos, mine are a bit rubbish really  ;D

These are excellent . Especially as I`m getting my Brand new DG Lilly Tomorrow :) . First and probably only ever new box I`ll ever own and likely the only Castagnari I`ll ever own too. Great to see pics of the team who built it in action . thanks  8)
