Hammersmith Morris website
« on: November 18, 2012, 08:17:26 PM »

Hello all,

I wanted to give the link for the Hammersmith website music to an acquaintance who want to learn morris tunes, but it seems to be defunct. Anyone know if the site has moved, or what is going on?

Thanks,
Graham

Dunno, AFAIK it shouldn't have vanished. I'll make enquiries.

It's back not, the hosting company "forgot" to automatically renew the domain name. Enjoy :-)

I host with treewind.co.uk as do two members of my family.  The only problems have been .. with the two members of my family  ;)

Seems a reasonable thread to put a small ad ..........          I run my own hosting servers and have plenty of space etc if anyone is looking for hosting (from £20 per year) - as usual a donation will be made to mel.net if anyone takes up hosting with me through this advert

the hosting company "forgot" to automatically renew the domain name.

You're lucky it wasn't grabbed by cybersquatters who'd then offer to sell it back to you at a silly price.
Or turned into a dodgy dating service, as a neglected folk club site did once...
