Hello all and Theo in particular!

Well done. I've been neglecting my box playing for a few months.. too much to do, too little time!

An email from Theo informing me of the new site and forum has been a real wake-up call!

I haven't had a chance to look through the main site yet but congratulations on taking up
the baton from Squeezy and I hope it's as popular and life-enriching as the old forum.

I'll be getting my Bouebe and  Lilly out of hiding today and squeezing some life back into them.

Thanks Theo.

Good luck from Shetland,

John

Thanks all for your efforts to make accordion playing more than a spectator sport!

Well done Theo et al. As I'm fairly isolated here in Berlin I rely on the forum for inspiration, learning tips and so much more. I look forward to following and contributing to this informative forum.
cheers.. Theo - if you're ever in Berlin the Pils are on me :)

Well I'm absolutely bowled over by the enthusiasm and expressions of thanks from so many in such a short space of time.  We are up to nearly 60 members in a couple of days.

Don't forget its not just me that has done this.  It would not have happened without Squeezy, who has already been acknowledged as the instigator of the original idea.  There has also been a lot of behind the scenes work by Clive Williams who is busy as we speak tweaking menus and links and looking after the look and feel of things.  All I did was bung in a couple of standard packages, he's doing the fine tuning.  If I'm the bricklayer and plasterer he is the plumber, electrician, and interior decorator and I'm pretty sure he still has some ideas up his sleeve.

I'm going to take short break from websites now, because there are a few people who want their funny squeezy things mended. :D

Thanks again for everyones support.  It is great that we now have a forum that works quickly, is easy to use, and can be modified as needed.  I'm sure it will go from strength to strength.

I'm going to lock this topic now so you'll all have to start talking about melodeons again instead of about me.   :-[
