Playing more punchy on a B/C
« on: November 27, 2012, 06:55:08 PM »

Hi all:

I am curious about how much of a punchy sound can be obtained playing up to speed on a B/C? I like Tony MacMahon's music (D/D# and C#/D), but am more comfortable on a B/C system. Can a semblance of his style be obtained on a B/C? I've seen a Youtube clip of a young MacMahon playing the tunes My Love Is In America and Castle Kelly in C and Am respectively on a B/C box, but I am referring to playing his style in the ..ahem...'B/C crossing the rows' style. I hope I am making sense.
