Passing through London
« on: January 02, 2013, 01:50:37 AM »

I'll be passing through the City of London, Surrey and bits of Hampshire between January 3rd and January 8th.  If anyone has any suggestions as to where I might find a friendly session to sit in on, I'd be most obliged.

Whatever you do, steer clear of the well dodgy guest performers at the Cellar Upstairs on Saturday night close to Euston Station ;)

(if you can't find anything better to do that night, come and say hello)
It's not a session though.

More to the point, perhaps: Borough English Music Session on Sunday afternoon near London Bridge Station.

The George Inn session will be at the George Inn (!), Borough High Street (near London Bridge tube), at roughly 8.30pm on Monday the 7th. Will try and get there myself this month; I don't normally make it, but it's always good fun when I've been.

I'll be passing through London and staying in The City between May 14th and May 24th.  I'd love to sit in on a session, or see a performance, if anyone is playing within striking distance of Central London.

On the evening of Mon 14th, the Scottish music session I run in London should be assembling for an evening's tunage.  I say should as our venue is currently between landlords so it is possible we may get punted in favour of attempts to sell yet more posh burgers.  Updates will be posted here: https://thesession.org/sessions/6436
