Tell us your insane specs.
I feel like I've set the expectations too high now.

In short D/Em (or D/G with dutch reversal throughout), 4th button start with extra-low notes. Double fifths/octaves thirdless chords.

Do you have a Hohner from 1934-1945 with a serial number on?

Two more of my favourites :

Two tunes from the Yorkshire Dales - although the gurdy is based on a tune from the entracte to Weber’s opera Der Fraischutz!

Huntsman’s Chorus, and Butter’d Peas

Still squeezing after all these years.
Mostly on hohners , with a couple of Dinos and a smattering of anglos - and now a Jeffries duet

A work in progress. Some work needed on the control but the time was rapidly running out... so here it is, warts an' all.

Thanks, Roger. I've no dots for it - couldn't find any. I had to work it by ear. I could do a PDF P-T tab/dots given time.

Eshed, is the Dutch reversal new to you or have you been using it for a while?
And I see you have Eb in the extra buttons, but you don't have a Bb.

If you go to the composer’s recording on YouTube, look at his notes under the title and he offers to send the sheet music, freely, to anyone who sends him an email. I did just that, a couple of months ago and received the sheet together with a very nice email giving instructions as to how he would like it to be played. It is a beautiful piece!

Here's another all-time favourite of mine:

Tumbler's Hornpipe
https://youtu.be/cZttnK7a_2E

I've gotten into the habit of playing the first bar of the C part a bit hastily.
Other than that this video appropriately shows how I'm playing it most of the time.

P.s.: Why another late contribution of a favourite tune, you ask? Well, I'm trying to get a decent recording of this months TotM and got tired of playing the same tune over and over again, just to mess it up at some point. Needed to play something else for a change and I figured I might as well record it for your listening pleasure.

I’ve just learned this , 5 minutes before recording this first take !
It’s a cracking french waltz tune , Les Patins Blanc by Philipe Prieur

https://youtu.be/g5dtI3usOMo
You inspired me! Heard this ages ago and forgot all about it. Having heard you, I have now made the effort to learn it too! Played on a Maugein one voice G/C.

Thank you all!
I hadn't even thought of it at the beginning of the month, but it's a real favourite tune that I wanted to do something special with.
Kept waiting for the cello solo. Nicely done, all of it, including the sound.

I can't find a way to send a PM via Youtube any more (I am subscribed to his channel) and there isn't an email address given in the notes, any other suggestions for how to contact him?

I found him easily, on Messenger but if you can’t do that, I would suggest you leave a comment under the video on YouTube. At least, that way, YouTube will notify him that he has a new message. Hope this helps Pete but if you can’t get him, come back to me and I will send you what he sent me.

I've sent a message via Messenger although I'm always reluctant to intrude in such a personal way with someone I don't know!
