I missed this at the time, there's some very smooth and nifty playing going on here, well done!

Way way late but I can't find any appropriate places to put this so I will put it here. I've been playing since september 2nd.

It's a bit sloppy and i tripped up here and there but it sounds decent and I can do it perfectly off camera.

I've been learning by ear and I can play:
In continental mood
La Candela by (I forget)
La femme de marbre by S Delicq (simplified bass)
And part of septembre 2nd by S Delicq

Another thread is back from the dead. Sorry, I guess.   :D

My take on In Continental Mood by lovely Andy Cutting. I'm not there yet, even though I'm playing it at least once every time I pick up my box. It's just such a good tune... Maybe one day I will have it down a bit more fluid, but for now, I'm just happy with this recording. Will definitely revisit at some time in the future! (:)

Thank you!

There is always the danger, with these Tunes of the Month, that, after they are recorded and posted on here, they are forgotten about.

I have only just started to learn some of Andy Cutting's compositions and it is making me realise what a stunning musician and composer he is. At the moment, I am learning 'New Pneus' and it reminds me so much about, when I had a Citröen 2CV and how it used to gently rock from front to back as it went along at the top speed of 68mph. It was like sitting on a wooden horse in a carousel.  ;D Wonderful music!
