Taking silk ..
« on: February 09, 2013, 08:04:20 AM »

I see quite a few of us here have personal Web space and would suggest that we recognise Melnet's importance in squeezebox discussion by linking to main page, forum or even a favourite discussion

Any text content "wrapper" is best left to the individual as Google etc are deeply suspicious of anything resembling a template  ::) Otherwise "inward links" are what the Web is all about.  :|glug

Cross linking from other media is also to be encouraged; it's entirely possible that a Twitter link might carry more weight nowadays  ???

Google seems to rate us already, using search term Melodeon, mel.net is ranked 3rd after two Wikipedia entries, Melodeon Reed, top two hits, Melodeon Repair, Martyn, Me, then mel.net etc etc.

Load of gobbled e gook to me. Maybe that's where Google found its name.
If you want to see my website and I leave all the machinations to others, try
www.thesisbookbinding.co.uk.
Or just type Collis Bird into Google, that works as well.
