« on: April 15, 2013, 08:59:07 AM »

I've been about playing for donkey's years, the box at least 10 years so I suppose I really should be part of mel.net!!
Hi all - some of you already know me from festival sessions...........a lot of you won't.
Anyway, I'm pleased to be on board at last ;)

Hello   (:)

Apparently not, judging from the tag line under it!

Thanks for the comments - no the avatar piccie Is correct........yes I do have an extra air button on my boxes (and I use both!)............yes I have done the conversions myself.......yes I had to modify the stops through for the bass too. My single row Stephanelli with the four voice stops  - the conversion was a bugger, though!! >:E
Mind you, I've designed it so I can change the stops back to conventional on my boxes in about a half hour, so no problems selling them on if I need to. (:)

Current boxes :
Stephanelli "Cajun" 1 row in D (light, noisey, interesting sound)
Hohner Compadre 3 row DGA (heavy, sweet sounding)
Oakwood/Dino Baffetti (Binci) DG (nice weight, fast to play, punchy sound)
