Sorry - I changed the name of the file so it's now:

http://www.outofreach.org.uk/sheetmusic.php

I fixed all the links on the site, but I forgot I'd posted a direct link here.
I've updated that one too.

(I'd had some discussion with Chris Sullivan, who designed the original site, and we agreed that anything that said "download tunes" or similar was going to look like an invitation to download audio files - MP3 or whatever. In the end we decided the term "sheet music" was well-understood and unambiguous for what we wanted, and I changed the file name because I don't like names which are misleading)

PS for good measure I've installed a redirect on the old URL so it will work anyway. For all I know someone on concertina.net or elsewhere may have linked to it...

If anyone's still reading, I've added a news page to the Out of Reach web site. The main news is that Danny has sent his first cheque for £1000 to Cancer Research UK. Sales are well over 100 CDs to date.

If anyone has ideas about finding new places and ways to sell them, do contact me. Also if you think you can sell some more, contact me and we'll work out a way of getting some to you. A quick calculation suggests I could post two for the same cost as one, and nine CDs before the postage cost jumps up to another level.

I noticed this news on the page linked above:
26 May 2013
John Adams scheduled a track from the Out of Reach CD for his internet/local radio show.

And I wonder if someone could give a link to John's internet radio show? thanks, Ian

Thank you, Mystery Jig - wrapped and ready to go, though it's going to have to wait till Monday before we can get to a Post Office.

We sold at least two at a quite sparsely-attended folk club gig in South London last night (I say "at least" because one CD went as a raffle prize and I'm not sure which one it was...)

We got three tracks played on Genevieve Tudor's Folk show on BBC Radio Shropshire yesterday,
and some nice comments:

Just received and listened to!   :D

What a great cd with an interesting collection of tunes - definitely a number to go on my 'to-do' list straight away.

The CD will now take up residence in the car to continue the tune embedding process!!

Best of luck with future sales, Anahata.

Yours is in the post now Derek. I've just about caught up from jet lag after return from Canada Sunday night.

Ther's a really nice review of Out Of Reach by Dave Kidman: http://www.fatea-records.co.uk/magazine/2013/OutOfReach.html

Also in Mid July Danny announced that he had sent another £1000 to Cancer Research UK. We're getting there!

Jut had an email from Danny to say he's transferred another £1000 to CRUK making that a total of £3000 so far. That's over half way to the £5000 we'll raise if we sell all 500 CDs (minus a handful that were sent for review and promotion)

better late than never - another copy ordered. I have also asked if WREN music (Folk music organization in Devon) may give publicity to this project.

Should have said earlier, I love this CD, great playing and sound quality but most of all it's the spontaneous feel that lifts it.  That approach works well for trad music I think.  I am playing it a lot.
