Falmouth or nearby sessions?
« on: March 30, 2013, 09:05:51 PM »

I am on a short break in Falmouth from Sat 6 to Sat 13 April.
Does any one know of any sessions in the town or the area that I could drop in on?
Cheers.

Same here, I'm down in June for the Shanty festival and the week after .

If there aren't any sessions, but there are nearby players, then let me know  - you only need two people for a session!  ;)

Still squeezing after all these years.
Mostly on hohners , with a couple of Dinos and a smattering of anglos - and now a Jeffries duet

Didn't find a session in Falmouth but I did go to the Dreamers Folk Club in Redruth which was very friendly and welcoming to me and my wife - and a very high standard too. Highly recommended!
I did go to a session in Penzance on Tuesday night at the Pirate in Alverton. Again, very welcoming and friendly to a visiting face and highly recommended to anyone in the area.

They are both a good night out. The Pirates session is usually graced by melnet's own Microbot - did you meet?
