I'm finding it really hard locating a fingerboard for a prewar 1040, but I'm not alone by the looks of things.I can see it has dropped off as a topic but from what I can see there hasn't been a resolution to the problem...or have I missed it..?  ???

Oh, Sage One! The box was given to me without a fingerboard, the deceased owners daughter said he played it without one....Sorry. [Bit difficult to believe...] ::)

I recently got one of these for my Pokerwork.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hohner-Erica-Pokerwork-Pressedwood-melodeon-Fingerboard-Kit-/251261130632?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Keyboard_RL&var=&hash=item3a80549788#ht_550wt_1386

Fitted OK with a bit of patience but as with others I needed to adjust the leavers a bit.

Seller also said he was planning on doing some for the 1 row / 4 bass Hohners too.

(seller no relation to me etc...!)
