Tuners in Quebec
« on: January 13, 2009, 12:26:26 AM »

I'm looking for a tuner, and I figured Quebec would be the best spot in Canada to look. Anyone know of any good ones?

You have a great band, Le Vent du Nord, quite near you. Why not ask them

You can get to an e-mail address via this site.

...quite near you...

Right, 1600 miles / 2600 km... about the same distance as from Stockholm to Castelfidardo ;)

that about sums it up! ;) Yves seems to be a solid candidate, I looked him up on google, and his page says he's been working with accordions for over 24 years or so, and his father ran an accordion shop for 30 years or so before that? Either way, looks good, thanks quebecois!

Funny that fidjit recommended asking the guys in Le Vent du Nord -- I asked them the same question years ago and they recommended Normand Miron.  You can locate his address and phone # by consulting the directory at the Centre Mnemo website:
http://www.mnemo.qc.ca/html/accueil.html
There are also listings for others who work on accordions.
