WANTED: Bass reeds
« on: July 30, 2013, 01:26:29 PM »

I posted here a few days ago and was surprised not to get a response. Maybe I labelled the subject poorly so I'll try again and get right to the point:

Is it possible to buy individual reeds or do I have to buy a full set? I want bass reeds for a D/A bass and G/G but would prefer not to buy a whole new set if possible because my E/A and F#/B set are fine. I even have the chord reeds for the D/A so mostly I just need the 2 bass reeds for it. The G/G would be nice but not necessary as my current G/C is also useful.

I have a Weltmeister 86W. Should I try to contact Weltmeister directly or certain dealer?

You can buy single reeds from Charles Marshall at CGM. Find him on the Home page under "Shops and Repairers".
