At one time, there were Antonelli and Salpa (check spelling) reeds available from Italy.  I've been told that the two companies merged and that the same reed is now sold under both names.  I know that some people were really fond of both ... on the other hand, many people love Binci's.

I don't think you'll find many people who claim to have gotten wonderful reeds anywhere but Italy.

(PS I own a couple of Beltuna one-rows with brass-framed reeds.  They sound *wonderful*.  Not sure who makes them.)

The merged company is now know as VoiciArmoniche.

in addition to Binci there is also Cagnoni
