French field recording #3 - la saut basque
« on: August 04, 2013, 06:40:17 AM »

They don't pronounce the final … "so". Think I saw this in Basque country 3 years go, but am told it was/is also danced up into Aquitaine. I found it too tricky (triki? ;) )to do, a sort of a strut with a twist. Next time round (not filmed) the music rhythm changed seemingly unpredictably, but this belle chevalière seemed to have no problem with that! Danced "solo",  in groups
