As it says on the  YouTube video, the title is "Homage a Eric Favreau" composed by Lauréat Caron.
Nice playing.

Most of the info. you want is right there, Tommy. Title "Hommage à Éric Favreau" and composed by Lauréat Caron.

Lauréat is not a first name I have yet come across in Québec but there are many strange and wonderful given names out there, particularly among the older generation in the countryside.

Éric Favreau is a well-known fiddler. He plays with Raz-de-Marée among other bands. I was dancing opposite him just the other weekend.

Rees got in first but having typed all this and indulged in a bit of name-dropping  I may as well post...  ;)

Edit: ... and point out that "hommage" is misspelt - it does take two Ms (otherwise it could easily be misread as "lobster") and in this context could be translated as, I dunno, "Planxty".

There are lots of hommages out there and some people write completely different tunes as a hommage to the same person, which makes things rather confusing.
