At the top of the screen there used to be two links for showing unread posts. I noticed this is no longer there. Was this done on purpose or is it a glitch?

Have you collapsed the frame that holds said links? On far right below the melnet banner is the date/time followed by a + or - icon, if it is a + just press it and the frame will open with the links in.

Doh! That was it Lester. Thanks. Didn't know they could collapse and I'm not sure how I did it but all is good now. Thanks again

don't know how configurable SMF is in this respect, but that 'unread posts' button is by far my most common click (OK, I also press "post" too often ) and I bet I am not alone. In this it is odd that it can accidentally be toggled out of display?

btw I've also long wished for an "unread" button at the page bottom, as when you have read/posted it can be a long scroll up when we get to 19-20 posts on the page! Yes I know about the 'up' control, that doesn't (quite) get you there either.

not quite worthy of 'wish list' … but both might be something easily configurable in the next 'build' of the database?

And move the "Mark all messages read" button away from the "All unread topics" since it's too easy to hit the wrong one.
