There is a style of uilleann piping (Irish bagpipes) associated with folks like Finbar Furey etc. where the regulators are played in rythmic chord blasts, with much less attention given to harmonic support for the tune. To the non-uilleann piper this sounds a whole lot like a traffic jam. BTW The spouse approval rating for this style of playing is very low:)
