Wallace and Gromit
« on: October 12, 2013, 02:57:04 PM »

Hello

Apologies if this is on mel net, I have had a look but unable to locate it if it is here.

Would anyone know if it is possible to play the theme tune to Wallace and Gromit on a D/G box and if so would anyone have the abc available?

One of my young students wants to try and play it.  (:)

Thank you.

Still squeezing after all these years.
Mostly on hohners , with a couple of Dinos and a smattering of anglos - and now a Jeffries duet

Certainly is. There's even a YouTube video of me playing it (badly!) on Boat Race Day a couple of years ago when it was Edd's first day out in kit and he'd turned up wearing The Wrong Trousers and did a double jig with Dom...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hev-vBKhBlE

My excuse is that this was Dom's idea five minutes earlier and I'd never even tried playing the tune before...

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

I've got a copy of the music, in G, courtesy of Julian Nott. Can't play it yet though...
